The program utilizes a number of well-equipped laboratories for instructions and research. Hands-on experience is highly emphasized throughout the program and ultra-modern equipment is to serve the interests of both the students and staff.
This laboratory is concerned with mechatronics kits and prototypes that serve the mechatronic courses requirements of both students and staff. The laboratory offers a comfortable working environment for students to enhance their practical skills. Examples of the laboratory equipment are: bench-top CNC milling machine, bench-top CNC lathe machine, a complete SCARA robot, arm robot trainer, microprocessor teaching set, PIC 2000 micro-controller trainer, and sensor application trainer.
This laboratory is concerned with automation and electro-mechanical kits and prototypes that serve the courses requirements of both students and staff. Examples of the laboratory equipment are mechanical training system, electro-pneumatic trainer, hydraulic trainer, metallurgical microscope, universal hardness testing.
The Workshop introduces the fundamentals of manufacturing. The educational objective of experimental work is to provide undergraduate students with the necessary skills to perform appropriate mechanical processes of manufacturing various machines. Students also get hands-on experience with the way of operations of machine tools and preparing technical processes of the product report.
