Electronics & Communications Engineering Department

The department’s laboratories feature equipment that combines hands-on hardware experience with software-defined devices. In addition, data acquisition systems and specialized software interfaces, alongside traditional lab equipment, facilitate the practical experience for students. Four LABS are utilized to serve multiple courses, equipped with up-to date specialized devices to provide students with the highest level of practical experience.

Electronics LAB (A302)

This laboratory provides the students with the fundamentals and concepts of electronic devices and circuits through a set of well-prepared experiments. The educational objective of the experimental work is to provide the students with the necessary skills for performing the experiment under test to determine the required measured quantity using the available tools in the laboratory.

Antennas and Microwave LAB (A310)

This laboratory provides the students with the fundamentals and concepts of antenna and microwave circuits through a set of well-prepared experiments. The educational objective of the experimental work is to provide the students with the necessary skills for performing the experiment under test to determine the required measured quantity using the available tools in the laboratory.

Solid State Electronics LAB (A311)

This laboratory provides the students with the fundamentals and concepts of solid-state electronics through a set of well-prepared experiments. The educational objective of the experimental work is to provide the students with the necessary skills for performing the experiment under test to determine the required measured quantity using the available tools in the laboratory.

Communications and DSP LAB (A323)

This laboratory provides the students with the fundamentals and concepts of analog and digital communication through a set of well-prepared experiments. The educational objective of the experimental work is to provide the students with the necessary skills for performing the experiment under test to determine the required measured quantity using the available tools in the laboratory.
